• Madelyn Hoffman is the Co-Chair of GPAX and a dedicated environmentalist and peace activist. Madelyn served as the director of New Jersey Peace Action from 2000 to 2018 and has been a prominent figure in the Green Party, running as their candidate for U.S. Senate in 2018 and 2020, and for Governor of New Jersey in 1997 and 2021. Madelyn is currently living in Colombia.

The Earth Day to May Day theme highlights the interconnection between critical issues such as climate change, environmental justice, worker and immigrant rights, peace, anti-racism, and biodiversity. We won’t solve any of these problems without also addressing and solving the rest.

Speakers include former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein; Michael Johnson, Democracy Campaign Manager at Third Act; and Professor Butch Ware, GP nominee for Governor of California.

Last year, the state’s Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC) rejected a request to loosen water standards to allow fracking waste water (produced water) to be used for some agricultural purposes. There was a big scandal because Governor Lujan Grisham and Secretary Kenney were meddling with the process. Well, the industry is trying again. Please give public comment to the Water Quality Control Commission for the meeting on April 14, 2026, from 9am to noon. Our request is that the WQCC reject the request to revisit the rule on produced water. Meeting information and Agenda.
